About Us

             Riff Raff Theatre Productions Inc started with a group of friends who shared the same goal, which was to produce quality amateur theatre productions. Facing the challenges experienced by all community groups in the current climate we’ve been able to stage small productions to enthusiastic and very appreciative audiences. In February 2005 we staged our very first production entitled Nunsense—a musical comedy which was well received by our audience. We have since branched out into Children’s shows, Theatre restaurants and works by local playwrights and we look forward to the challenges yet to come.

             At Riff Raff Theatre Productions Inc we believe that live theatre is hard work but is also a source of enjoyment for cast, crew and audience alike. It is the enjoyment aspect that drives us all and we promote it as much as we are able. If you’re not having fun, you’re not enjoying it.

             We feel honored to have such great people working with us on committee and productions. We love to promote the social aspect of community theatre. To this end we hold social evenings for our members, friends and family which range from theme nights to special movie screenings. We feel it’s a great way to keep in touch with those friends you make during productions long after the memories of a production fade.

             Our activities are not strictly limited to the theatre. Last year we will launch a vocal quartet named ‘The Riffters’ who perform locally to compliment our various fund raising activities which all help us to plan bigger and better productions. We look forward to the communities support and enjoyment of our endeavours.
